Or the need to carry around an extra shirt if start sweating a lot. These are just two examples among many when dealing with sweating.

What Is The Cause Of Sweating Too Much?

The thing is we all need to sweat, it is a natural law, no one can escape it. It is just a natural way of bodies keeping us coo when the climate changes. But some people seem to sweat more than others. There could be several reasons leading you to sweating too much.

If a person is overweight, sweating is their reality. The body fat behaves like an insulator maintaining the body heat inside the body. But since obese people obviously have a much greater percentage of body fat, this completely holds up the body heat which leads their bodies to being much warmer. All in all, this results in sweating too much.

If you are smoking cigarettes, drinking alcohol then stop with that if you want stop sweating too much. Taking drugs also falls into this category. All these things block your body system and complicate for your heart to pump blood which is to be spread in the body.

If you are suffering from excessive sweating since puberty then you probably suffer from primary hyperhidrosis which is a condition regarding sweating too much. During adolescence sweat glands activate. And if a larger number of sweat glands activates that results in primary hyperhidrosis. The good news is that usually it is not that serious. There is also secondary hyperhidrosis which can begin at any time in your life and is a more serious condition then primary hyperhidrosis. Secondary hyperhidrosis is connected to a malfunction in the performance of the pituitary gland or the thyroid gland. Also diabetes, tumors, drugs, gout and mercury poisoning can all activate secondary hyperhidrosis.

And of course, the cause of many conditions – the stress. Worrying too much leads to sweating too much. Stressful life, anxiety and tension will not help you at all.

Sweating Too Much: Natural Treatments

  • Drink more than six glasses of water each day, this will preserve a good blood stream and control the excessive sweating.
  • You can also drink saga tea, drink it daily as this destroys the toxins in the body and therefore lessen the sweating in a person, especially the armpits.
  • Get some fresh lemon juice and apply it to your body parts which tend to sweat a lot. Leave it like that for about 10-15 minutes and then rinse it off. If you do not have fresh lemon juice, you can use vinegar or tomato pulp as they have the same effect on sweating too much.
  • You can make a paste by milling eucalyptus leaves and walnut together. Place the pasta on body parts prone to sweating too much and do not touch for around 5-10 minutes and then wash it off with water.
  • Maintain a low fat diet. Stay away from sugar, salt and spices.
  • Wear only clothes made out of cotton. Do not wear silk and other „slick“ fabrics which generally make the whole sweating thing even worse.
  • Get cotton pads, soak them up in lemon juice and baking soda. Patting the cotton pads under the armpits will minimize the body smell and sweating too much, and along that it will give you a fresh and tingly feeling all day long.
