1. Best Pocket Knife: Kershaw Pocket Knif

This American knife company prides itself in making high quality pocket knives at a sensible price. They do not have that many models such as Victorinox Swiss Army knives or

Benchmade but offer some really outstanding models so that each person is able to find the best pocket knife according to their need and budget. Their biggest achievement was the creation of an entirely new category of folder knives – the assisted opening knives.

The SpeedSafe system found a gap on the market and filled it for everyone who were looking for a folder at that time which was more easy to manipulate, yet not a switchblade. Their most popular pocket knives come from the Leek series, which is as previously mentioned a series of assisted-opening knives.

The JYD II, Skyline and Shallot are outstanding knives and will satisfy anyone searching for a best pocket knife. Kershaw even made pocket knives with pink and rainbow folders for the ladies.

Don't forget Spyderco! Made in Golden CO Spyderco knives are excellent tools. I fortunately live close to the factory and have had one of their knives in my pocket almost every day for many years.

Another affordable pocket knife that is gaining popularity is the Elk Ridge pocket knives available in 1,2 or 3 bladed styles!

Great Hub! I carry a Kershaw Onion 1600BR everyday. I maintain two survival packs - trail walking & earthquake for home. I keep Swiss Army knives in both and a Gerber for outdoor purposes - fish scaling, wood projects, etc. Important tools. I have my dad's & my grandpa's Case pocket knives [I was lucky, my bro's & sisters did think anything of them, so I got them :)], I have no idea of their collector value, but they are priceless when you wonder what work they must have done.
