This article is a sequel on the topic best laptops for students from student`s perspective. Why did I say student`s perspective? Because along with some of my fellow students I did a research on most popular laptops among students. That is all explained in my previous article on best laptops for college students. Every year students and their parents go through the same process of buying laptops for college.

You require a laptop that lets you do all the basic stuff and of course access to the Internet. And along that, you need it to be fast and reliable. A big factor is the size and weight since most probably you will be carrying it around classes and seminars, and you do not want have back pain from all the carrying. And the last but not the least important factorwhen choosing best laptops for students, as a matter of fact, possibly the deciding factor – the price a.k.a your budget. As I already stated in the first article, the research showed most of the popular laptops are cheap, but there can be found a laptop for a little higher budget. And a few tips before we go any further: be sure to purchase your laptop with a credit card as this will double the warranty, and look for student discounts prior to buying. Now I will list the remain top 3 best laptops for students in no particular order.

4. Best Laptops For Students: HP G62t

Overview:

In comparison to the competition, this HP offers better performance and battery life by far which is the reason why it is among best laptops for students on the market. It hasn't gotten a single fingerprint on this nice matte surface and with brushed metal hinges the laptop seems pricier than it really is. Weighing only 5.4 pounds it is perfect if portability is your main factor. Mouse pad is very responsive, most users report that the keyboard layout is just something that you have to get used to and has a single touch button. The speakers work well for music, the 15.6 inch screen makes videos from 5 years ago look like they were made yesterday, it works very good for video editing, pc games, 3D drafting and so on. 5. Best Laptops For Students: ASUS Eee PC 1001P

Overview:

Although there has been significant process in the terms of design, and the performances of laptops, for people who are on a really short budget there have not been that many alternatives to choose from. But this ASUS has changed that. Especially considering the smart stylish design and excellent 8 hours battery life which made this model one of the cheapest best laptops for students. Most users love the keyboard and the controls are right were they should be fitting people customers with larger hands and that it does not look or feel cheap considering the price.

If you are looking for a laptop with the standard load-out of an Intel N450 CPU, 1GB of RAM, and a 160GB hard drive, there is no reason to pay more. ASUS has a typical 10.1-inch display at 1,024x600 pixels which is fine for this price but it feels cramped when you scroll down long Web pages. On the right side are headphone and microphone jacks, a 3-in-1 memory card reader, an Ethernet port,and two more USB ports.

Why is Sony Vaio VGN-FW140E/H one of the best laptops for students? Answer: If you are into media, this is for you. As far as the price, it may not be for every student's pocket, but it is a good deal if you can afford it.
